Tony and Elaine's

March 5-8-Tony had been Sondra's trombone teacher when she studied at CCM.  Over the years we have kept in touch with him and his wife Elaine.  They have visited us twice in Colorado and before kids, Sondra had spent time with them in Florida when Mark was on a Florida band tour.

We always enjoy our visits so much and this one was no exception.  They live in a gorgeous neighborhood in Beverly Hills and they graciously allowed us to park Miss Jim B at their beautiful home.  Janae and Stefan immediately felt at ease and enjoyed them so much.  Elaine has lots of toys gadgets and even played Webkins with them and taught them how to Zumba.  She's much cooler than their mom and they fell in love with her.  Tony is man of many talents.  Not only is he one of the best trombonists in the country, he can cook like nobodies business.  He welcomed us with a Cincinnati tradition: Chili, cheese and onions on a bed of spaghetti.  However, his was much better and we all devoured it.  Another night, he made this amazing chick pea and spinach dish that Janae and Stefan loved.  Don't worry kids, I got the recipe and will try to duplicate.
Tony's Skyline Chili.  Awesome!!!

Notice the Teddy Bear at the counter.  Very friendly creatures throughout the fun house.

Our first day, we got up and went on a wonderful 10 mile bike trip and had ice cream at a cute little diner when we were done.  It was a perfect amount of exercise for us but Tony and Elaine are hard core and could have ridden another 90 miles.

New BFF's

After getting home, we quickly changed our clothes and went swimming at this beautiful pool.  We had to practice our snorkeling for tomorrow.
Notice that we have it all to ourselves!
